Bloomfield College to Host Monologue Workshop with Thaddeus McCants

Bloomfield College of Montclair State University’s Theater In Practice course, taught by Dr. Freddie Harris-Ramsby, will host a monologue workshop led by writer and director Thaddeus McCants (he/him) on March 4th and March 18th. McCants is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work includes collaborations with HBO and VICE Media, and he is a recipient of the Theater Masters Visionary Playwright Award.
This interactive workshop will guide participants in creating original monologues that connect personal stories to the enduring legacy of the Declaration of Independence. Students from across Montclair State University are invited to take part in this creative and reflective experience.
The workshop reflects Bloomfield College’s mission to enlighten students through a rigorous liberal arts education, engage them in community-centered learning, and foster a strong campus community rooted in shared histories and cultures.
Dates: March 4th & 18th
Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
Parking is available at 225 Liberty Parking lot, with shuttle service provided on both campuses.
