Next year marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and Montclair State University is kicking off a multi-year celebration called Montclair 250. The initiative runs through December 2026 and will feature everything from art exhibits and performances to lectures and debates — all designed to reflect on the nation’s history and imagine its future.
Montclair State University President Jonathan Koppell will lead a special lecture series exploring America’s founding principles, the role of higher education, and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Bloomfield College students are invited to attend these lectures on Montclair’s main campus and take part in this historic conversation.
