Bloomfield College’s Educator Preparation Program is accredited by Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC). All program are currently in self-study review to be accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) with a site visit in June 2021.
Annual Reporting Measures 2019-2020
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) has annual reporting measures which are used to provide information to the public on both program outcome and program impact. Following is a list of CAEP measures with links to data table that provide supporting evidence for each measure:
Impact Measures:
Measure 1: Impact on P-12 learning and development (Standard 4.1)
The provider documents, using multiple measures, that program completers contribute to an expected level of student-learning growth.

Measure 2: Indicators of teacher effectiveness (Standard 4.2)
The provider demonstrates that completers effectively apply the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions that the preparation experiences were designed to achieve.

Measure 3: Satisfaction of employers and employment milestones (Standard 4.3/A4.1)
The provider demonstrates that employers are satisfied with the completers’ preparation for their assigned responsibilities working with P-12 students.
Supporting Evidence: The Employer Satisfaction Survey will be administered by the Division of Education every two years. The Employer Satisfaction Survey will be administered in Spring 2021.
Measure 4: Satisfaction of completers (Standards 4.4/A.4.2)
The provider demonstrates that program completers perceive their preparation as relevant to the responsibilities they confront on the job, and that the preparation was effective.
Supporting Evidence: The Alumni Satisfaction Survey will be administered by the Division of Education every two years. The Alumni Satisfaction Survey 2020 results can be found here.
