Financial Aid Application

FAFSA is the key that opens the door to Financial Aid eligibility.

Bloomfield College uses one form to determine all your financial aid eligibility!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) allows us to determine your federal, state, and institutional financial aid eligibility. The financial aid application is separate from your admissions application, and can be completed before you are accepted to Bloomfield College.

The FAFSA form must be completed every year.

Completing the FAFSA

STEP ONE - Complete the Bloomfield College Admissions Application

STEP TWO - Apply for a federal FSA ID for student and parent at https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm The FSA ID is your e-signature to your federal application

STEP THREE - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at http://www.fafsa.gov

  - Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Application is available as of October 1, 2023

  - Make sure to use IRS Data Retrieval Tool
STEP FOUR - New Jersey Residents must create a NJFAMS account so they can check the status of their Tuition Aid Grant (TAG), and provide verification documents you can do so at www.njfams.hesaa.org.
STEP FIVE - Apply for private scholarships through your high school, civic, and religious organizations

STEP SIX - A financial aid award letter will be mailed as early as February for those who have been accepted to Bloomfield and filed the 2023 -2024 FAFSA
