Bloomfield College President Marcheta P. Evans and her spouse, Ed Evans, recently joined invited attendees at the White House’s inaugural Juneteenth Concert on the South Lawn – all guests of President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden – in “celebration of community, culture and music.”

The Bloomfield College Alumni Association (BCAA) presented eight service awards at its inaugural Distinguished Alumni Brunch held at The Highlawn on May 21, 2023, the day following the College’s milestone 150th commencement.

Many former college students return to their alma mater to say hello to favorite professors, to serve on the alumni association board or attend related events, or simply to take a tour to see what’s changed.

Aurelio Soto ’23 recently traveled to Makhanda, South Africa as part of a team working to create 360-degree video tours in support of innovative virtual study abroad programming between Bloomfield College and the town of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.
