Take Advantage of this Free Educational Opportunity!

Take the first step to a new future with the Bloomfield College Kellman Course in the Humanities. This free educational opportunity is open to selected individuals in the northern New Jersey area. Qualified applicants will receive college-level instruction with full college credit and will have the opportunity to explore a new world education. Tuition, books and transportation are all free of charge.

Course Outcomes:
The Bloomfield College Kellman Course in the Humanities prepares students to:

  1. communicate effectively orally and in written form
  2. read and comprehend college-level material
  3. demonstrate an appreciation for and use of dialogue and reasoned argument
  4. demonstrate skills of moral deliberation and analysis
  5. make connections between philosophical thought and human behavior of the past and present
  6. demonstrate analytical skills, in both written and verbal form
  7. present their ideas with clarity and personal conviction

Admission Requirements:
  • Complete application and personal interview
  • Satisfy income guidelines
  • Read and comprehend at a 6th grade level or higher
  • Commitment to complete the full course of study
