As you realized last year, you learn a great deal about yourself and your abilities though these on the job experiences. The second BEST workshop is for students who are returning for a second year to the BEST Program. The focus is to enable you to build on what you learned and experienced last year and to determine goals for this year and for your future career. In addition, as a CAREER PREPARATION WORKSHOP, you will do self-assessment, learn to write a more sophisticated resume, and learn techniques for interviewing on the next level. We will explore majors, internships, and careers. You are encouraged to apply for BEST positions that match your career interests. Positions will be posted and open for resume submission on August 16, 2010. Juniors and Seniors, please look for internship experiences offered through the BEST Program. You can be paid for these internships with your work-study money!

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Piecing Together the Masterpiece "Scavenger Hunt"
With this program, students will be able to interact with other residents of the University Centre. The way the interaction will happen will be with a scavenger hunt in which B.C. and U.C. residents participate in. They will get clues which lead them to different parts of the U.C. 1st and bottom floors. They will have to collect a number of (7) flags. Connected to the flags will be individual puzzle pieces which at the end of the game they will have to put the puzzle together to win. Problem solving skills will be put to the test in trying to figure out where their next clue is.

These two comedies tinker with the theatrical idea of the fourth wall! The Gurney play tells the story of the husband and friends of a woman who has rearranged her living room furniture to face a blank fourth wall because she feels that if she can just break through it, she can make big things happen. In the classic Stoppard play, the theatre critics attending a murder mystery end up crossing the fourth wall and becoming characters in the play.
