Title: Evaluation and management of athletic injuries
Bloomfield College is proud to offer the Chiropractor Continuing Education Program in collaboration with the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic Postgraduate Program. This seminar will provide the attendee with an understanding of the biomechanics of soft tissue injuries which will aid in the evaluation and treatment of common athletic injuries (including joint sprains, muscle strains and tendinopathy) as well as an understanding of the mechanism of injury which is important in making a diagnosis. Specific evaluation and treatment methods for sprains, strains and tendinopathy will be discussed. In addition, evaluation and treatment for specific common injuries such as tennis and golfer's elbow, snapping hip, patellofemoral arthralgia, iliotibial band syndrome, ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis will be discussed.

Registration and cancellation policy: Deadline is one week in advance of the training date. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 for advance registration and $35.00 on the day of the class. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins and late registrations will only be accepted if there is space available. If the event is cancelled or postponed, Bloomfield College will refund all fees but is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses.
Attendance requirements: Full attendance at the workshop is required to receive CE credits. Partial credit will not be awarded; late arrivals or early departures will preclude awarding of CE credits.
