Bill Clearance
Once a transfer student registers for classes the bill clearance process will begin.
Student bills can be paid by cash, check, credit card, money order or bank check.
The following credit cards are accepted as payment – VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and
Discover. Credit card payments can be accepted at the Bursar’s office, on Web Advisor,
by telephone or by fax.
All students must meet with a Bursar’s Office staff member in order to obtain a
bill clearance to receive their class schedule and a room and board permit (resident
students only).
Clearance will be given to students who stop at the Bursar’s Office to:
- Pay their balance due in full, or
- Pay balance due after all financial aid and/or loans have been deducted, or
- Set up an approved deferred payment plan (for those students covered 100% by financial
aid and/or loans) or payment plan (for those students with no financial aid and/or
loans, or for students with balances after financial aid and/or loans have been
deducted.)
The first payment of a payment plan must be received to receive bill clearance.
Students must bring financial aid information with them to Bursar’s Office.
Bursar ’s Office clearance must be obtained within thirty (30) days of your invoice
date or you will be charged a $50 late clearance fee.
*Important Note: Students who do not receive Bursar’s Office clearance by the first
day of classes will have their registration cancelled.
Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid at Bloomfield College is
committed to assisting all
students in obtaining the financial resources including grants, scholarships, loans
and part-time employment, to pursue their education. It is understandable that many
students need financial assistance while working toward their degree. Each year
millions of dollars are allotted from federal, state, and college sources to fill
this need.
Visit the
financial aid page for more information on completing the FAFSA
and up to date financial aid information.
