At Bloomfield College we know that College can be a momentous and costly experience in one's life. Our financial aid department  is trained to assist students and families in completing the financial aid process and receiving the maximum amount of aid based on eligibility in all the financial aid programs.

Bloomfield College offers more than 50 percent of full-time undergraduate students benefit from a comprehensive program of financial aid . The average financial aid package includes: grants, scholarships, loans and student employment.

NEWS BULLETINS

    • * If you previously borrowed a Federal Stafford Student Loan through Bloomfield College, your loan award will automatically be credited to your student account (upon receipt of funds from your lender) unless you tell us otherwise.  Once loan funds are credited, you are responsible for repayment of these loans under the terms of the promissory note.  If you are making changes to your loan amount, please complete and return the Loan Data Change Form immediately.
    • * The Summer 2006 Loan Request Form (LRF): In order to receive financial aid assistance for the summer term you must have completed a 2005-2006 FAFSA and be a matriculated student.
    • * Complete the 2006-2007 Financial Aid Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)as soon as possible. Remember that continuing student must apply no later than mid May to avoid missing the June 1st deadline.
    • * Award letters for incoming students will be sent beginning March 27, 2006 and May 1, 2006 for continuing students.
    • * Do not forget to use the Loan Data Change Form to adjust or cancel Stafford student loan amounts and also to update enrollment changes
