Our traditional day program consists of more than 70 majors and concentrations. Evening classes are held Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm until 9:40pm. Students can enroll on either a full-time or part-time basis.

About Accelerated Certificate Programs at Bloomfield College
Bloomfield College understands the special needs of the adult learner. You will be taught by dedicated professors who are professionals working in their fields of expertise. Take advantage of networking with other adult students, faculty, and staff.
Classes meet on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons. You can enroll in a part-time or full-time program, with classes beginning in September, January and April. You can earn a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in fewer than four years, if you are a full-time student.
The Center for Adult Learning recognizes the demands made on working adults, and offers a complete college program that allows for serious academic pursuit within a schedule that provides balance in their lives. Courses, each carrying four college credits, are conveniently scheduled on Friday evenings and all day Saturday classes
Online and partially online courses are also offered.
Must be 25 years or older.

Registered Nurse Track—B.S. in Nursing
The Bloomfield College Division of Nursing offers a degree curriculum to meet the needs of registered nurses who wish to earn a Bachelors of Science with a major in nursing. Graduates of NLN accredited diploma or associates degree programs in nursing may apply for admission as matriculated candidates for the degree. They will be able to attend full or part-time and gain credit by Excelsior College Examination (formerly Regents), transfer of previous college work, and life assessment in subjects outside of specific nursing courses.
The program is offered on campus and at South Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin, NJ.
Certificate Programs-
If you already have a bachelor’s degree wish to update your skills or want a shorter program of study, you may be interested in one of our Certificate Programs. Hundreds of adults each year take advantage of the Center for Adult Learning's career-oriented, professional certificate programs designed for working adults who are interested in professional growth. At the completion of the designated courses, which usually number seven or eight, students are awarded a Bloomfield College accredited certificate. Because these courses carry full college credit, you can apply these courses toward a degree now or in the future.

Get Credit For Life/Work Experience-
Through the years, you have acquired knowledge through industrial and managerial training programs, adult education, private study, and work experience. We believe you should be rewarded for that. Through our Life/Learning Assessment Program, you can receive college credit for college-learning gained though life experience. You can contact the Center for Adult Learning to discuss preparing a portfolio at 973.748.9000 x309.
CLEP Credits-
We also accept a maximum or 16 course units earned through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP).
