Bloomfield College admits qualified
applicants who demonstrate motivation,
desire, and the potential to benefit
from and contribute to programs of
study in the liberal arts and sciences,
creative arts and technology, and
professional studies. Applicants
are accepted throughout the year
on a rolling basis and are notified
within two weeks of the College's
receipt of required materials. Once
admitted, students are placed according
to their academic preparation and
achievement. The College's mission
is to prepare students to meet a
standard of excellence in a multiracial,
multicultural society, and admission
is open to all qualified students
without regard to race, color, creed,
religion, national or ethnic origin,
sexual orientation, age, or physical
disability. The College welcomes
applications from high school seniors,
transfer students, and adult students
returning to school.
How Bloomfield College Considers its
Applicants:
Applicants for admission to Bloomfield
College are considered on the basis
of their high school academic record,
Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT-I)
or American College Test (ACT) scores,
recommendations, essay, extracurricular
activities, and post secondary school
transcripts where applicable.
Preference is given to applicants
who submit their information by the
priority deadline of March 14th for
the fall semester, Dec 15th for the
spring semester and May 1 for the
summer semester. Applications submitted
after these dates will be considered
on a space available basis.
