Frances M. McLaughlin Division of Nursing
Combine your skill of science, with your passion for helping others
Nursing is a dynamic profession that requires intelligence, hard work and critical thinking skills. However, it is often the simple desire to care for people that leads one to choose a nursing career.
Should you decide to enter the nursing profession or further your education beyond your current R.N. license, you will have a wide variety of career options to choose from. Perhaps you will enter a fast-paced specialty, such as ER or intensive-care nursing. Perhaps the more predictable nature of a doctor’s office appeals to you. You might choose to work with paraplegics, cardiac patients or newborns or possibly pursue a graduate degree with the goal of being an educator
