Humanities
Connect with your deepest thought, great literature and significant events in history
The ability to think clearly, analyze complex issues, make sound reasoned judgments, and express ideas effectively are essential skills for any career, especially for the paths many Humanities graduates take: creative writing, journalism, law, teaching, the ministry, publishing, advertising and public service. At Bloomfield, we focus on four disciplines: English (with concentrations in Literature, Writing and Communications), History, Philosophy and Religion, each in its unique way exposing students to the life of the mind while inculcating skills absolutely necessary in the 21st century workplace.
