This course will enable students ot demonstrate their teaching skills in the design and delivery of curricula addressing the needs of diverse learners. Students design units as a team and demonstrate team teaching skills. Students design differentiated instructional lessons, based on a review of the professional literature that supports the implementation of their design by referencing the research source. The skills demonstrated in the delivery of lessons must be based on an understanding of the research that embodies the characteristics of the differing needs of diverse learners. Students present their lesson using a variety of strategies integrating diagnostic, formative and summative assessment data, and sharing the research resources and concepts that inspired the design.
