Study Abroad

Are you thinking about studying abroad?

Studying abroad is a wonderful opportunity to be immersed in a different culture, to meet new friends, and have the transformative experience of a lifetime, all while you are earning course credits towards graduation. If you are receiving financial aid, your scholarships, grants, and loans can be used to finance your study abroad semester. Whether you are interested in studying abroad for a short-term program or longer for a semester, here are some opportunities to consider:

Exchange Programs

Jeon Ju University
Bloomfield College has an exchange program with Jeon Ju University in South Korea. For the past six years, Korean students have travelled to BC to collaborate with our CAT students on a multi-media project. Last year,  the Jeon Ju students came in June to start collaborating with our CAT students under the supervision of Professor Yuichiro Nishizawa. After the Jeon Ju students returned, our  students then travelled to Seoul to finish the collaboration. The result: a wonderful multi-media project, new friendships, and a terrific cultural experience!

Arts University College at Bournemouth
There is also an exchange program where CAT students can study at the Arts University College at Bournemouth, England www.aucb.ac.uk. Our students have studied Digital Media and Animation at AUCB.

The Center for Global Studies will be glad to help you with the process of deciding if studying abroad is right for you and helping you with all the steps of the application process. Let’s have a conversation to discuss the exciting possibilities!
