Education

We’ve all heard the stories of successful people who credit a former teacher with inspiring and motivating them to excel. Someone who recognized their potential and cared enough to offer words of encouragement that stuck with them as they strove to fulfill their career goals.

As a classroom teacher, you have the power to shape the lives of your students. As incredibly rewarding as that is, it is also an enormous responsibility and one for which you must be properly prepared.

As a Bloomfield College education major, you will study the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching, including a semester of student teaching. You will focus on a particular subject area to further refine your professional skills. Perhaps most important, you will acquire the knowledge and motivational skills you need to positively impact the lives of young people.

For additional information, you can also view the Divison of Education's home page.
