As of 12am Friday July 15, 2011 Bloomfield College’s email system will be hosted by Google. Users can login to DeaconApps by clicking on one of the links to the left (Deacon Mail, Deacon Calendar or Deacon Docs). Below is a link to a Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQ). This page will answer question about logging in, email addresses, usernames and passwords, and using a mobile device with DeaconApps. You can also periodically check this page for additional information postings and helpful links. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I login to DeaconApps? To login to DeaconApps click on one of the links on the left side of the DeaconApps homepage (LINK).

What is my email address? Your email address will be the same as it was on the previous email system.

What is my username and password? Usernames will now be the first half of your email address. For example if your email address is Kelly_Smith@bloomfield.edu, then your username will be Kelly_Smith. Your password has not changed from the previous email system.

What do I do if I forget my password? If you forget your password you must call the Bloomfield College Help Desk at 973-748-9000 x224 to have it reset.

How can I change my password, if I know my current password?

  1. Log into DeaconMail
  2. Click on your email address in the upper right corner of the page and then click the “Account Settings” link.
  3. Under “Personal Settings” click on "Changing Your Password"
  4. You will come to a form which asks for your current password, and asks you for your new password.
  5. Fill that out and click on Change Password.

How can I use my mobile devices with DeaconApps? At this point in time the Bloomfield College IT Department is not supporting the use of mobile devices with DeaconApps. However this service will be available shortly. An announcement will be made when the service is available.
