Bloomfield College Nursing Program Ranked Third in State

RegisteredNursing.org ranked Bloomfield College as one of the top 10 RN programs in all of New Jersey.

The Frances M. McLaughlin Division of Nursing at Bloomfield College was ranked third, just after Rowan College at Gloucester County and Thomas Edison State University.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by RegisteredNursing.org as a high ranking nursing program,” said Division Chair Dr. Neddie Serra, EdD, CNE, MSN, RN. “Not only does this accolade applaud the hard work of the Bloomfield College faculty, which sometimes goes unnoticed, but it also speaks highly of our wonderful students who strive and work so hard to become professionals.”

Nursing programs were assessed on several factors that represent how well a program supports students toward licensure and beyond including analyzing past and present NCLEX-RN pass-rates, weighted by year. Programs reviewed include institutions that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.

“Congratulations to all the well deserving Bloomfield College nursing graduates who helped make our program what it is today, a recognized force in this state,” said Dr. Serra.
